Per the DMCA, CertsNext will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement on the site if submitted to our designated Copyright Agent as described below. Upon receipt of a notice alleging copyright infringement, CertsNext will take whatever action it deems appropriate in its sole discretion — including removal of the allegedly infringing material and termination of access for repeat infringers.
How to Report Copyright Infringement
If you believe your intellectual property rights have been violated by CertsNext or by a third party who has uploaded material to our site, please provide the following information to our designated Copyright Agent.
Your notice must include:
A description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property you claim has been infringed.
A description of where the material you claim is infringing is located on the site.
An address, telephone number, and email address where we can contact you, and — if different — an email address where the alleged infringing party (if not CertsNext) can contact you.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized by the copyright owner, other IP rights owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you're the copyright or IP owner, or authorized to act on their behalf.
Your electronic or physical signature.
Notices that don't include all of the elements above may not receive a response, as we're unable to verify or act on incomplete claims.
What Happens After We Receive a Complaint
CertsNext may request additional information before removing any allegedly infringing material. If we remove the material, we will immediately notify the person responsible for posting it that we removed or disabled access to it. We may also provide that person with your email address so they can respond to your claim. Repeated, verified copyright violations by the same account may result in permanent suspension.

Counter-Notification
If you believe content you uploaded was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notice should include:
- Identification of the content that was removed and its location before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we may reinstate the content unless the original complainant files a court action seeking a restraining order within the timeframe required by law.
